Idasa started out making beats out of his high school physics teacher's office with nothing but a laptop and Fruity Loops 3.5.6 (now known as FL Studio). Inspired by beats produced by Kanye West and DJ Premier, Idasa created beats for his own projects, though never released any officially until later on his career. Since dropping out of college to pursue his music full time, Idasa has released 4 projects under his own imprints Ground Flow Communications, Inc. and Fresh Air Flavor Media: 2 solo EP's (Smiling Faces & Say Cheese), the collaborative EP HerStory with Columbus, OH emcee Dominique Larue, and the recently released Live From The Cellar Vol.1 beat tape. Aside from producing his own projects, he has produced songs for emcees like Jasiri X ("Just A Minstrel ft. Idasa Tariq & Living Proofe" & "The Freshness"), Rise Ascend fka Ankh Amen Ra ("Easy Loving"), E-Fluent ("It's Your Time") and more. Idasa is currently preparing for the release of his next project Pissed Off Soul Man
